Google Blog Search

Everyone by now must have heard of Google Blog Search. Google released this tool at the hight of blog search wars ( remember technotri?) to specifically search into blogs. Today Google Blog Search proves to be another major source of traffic for most of blogs. Blog fans specifically use blog search to find what they are looking for.

So what you need to do to get into Google Blog Search?

1. Use blog software as CMS – great example of this could be wordpress. Started as simple/basic blog tool, today wordpress can be used as advanced CMS software to run large website, thanks to huge collection of extensions developed by open source community for it.

2. Publish that RSS feed – while RSS feeds are great way to make your content available to search engines, it also means you are offering your content to scraper sites on plate to copy/reproduce. Best thing to do is never publish RSS with full text, just summary and then link to your original article.
